RnB Fridays Radio wins Best Digital Radio at the ACRAs

RnB Fridays Radio has won the trophy for best digital radio station at the 33rd Australian Commercial Radio Awards (the ACRAS).
 
RnB Fridays Radio achieved the top prize against other nominees in the category: Club Lime Radio, Dance Hits and TikTok Trending on iHeartRadio.
 
Lindsay Marapa, Mike Etheridge, Emma Chow, Adam Williscroft and Madeline Wilson from SCA proudly took home the award on the red carpet at the gala event.
 
Long-time radio duo Mike Etheridge and Emma Chow, are heard live on RnB Fridays Radio on LiSTNR and on DAB+ from 7-10am weekdays.
 
Known for their relatable, nothing off-limits, entertaining, and honest show, Mike E & Emma bring their show to life every weekday with the hottest Hip-Hop and RnB music their fans love.
 
Made famous on the Hit Network, RnB FRIDAYS evolved into nation-wide stadium tours that brought some of the globe’s biggest RnB artists to Australia. The station is available on the LiSTNR app and DAB+ across Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth.

•           Best On-Air Team (Metro FM) – Kyle and Jackie O (KISS 106.5)
•           Best Talk Presenter and Best Current Affairs Presenter – Neil Mitchell (3AW)
•           Best On-Air Team (AM) – Ross Stevenson and Russel Howcroft (3AW)
•           Best Syndicated Australian Program – Ryan Fitzgerald and Michael Wipfli (NOVA Entertainment)
 
Kyle Sandilands and Jackie Henderson were also inducted into the Commercial Radio Hall of Fame, recognising their longevity as a duo and significant contribution to the radio broadcasting industry and charitable work.
 
The ACRAS highlight Australia’s vibrant radio and audio industry, celebrating outstanding talent across 39 categories, including news, talk, sport, music, entertainment and podcasting.
 
Ford Ennals, the chief executive officer of awards organiser Commercial Radio & Audio (CRA), said: “The ACRAS are about celebrating what makes radio such an enduring and influential medium.  It has been 99 years since the first station began broadcasting in Australia, and radio’s bond with listeners today is stronger than ever.  Congratulations to all the winners and the finalists on their amazing work.”
 
The ACRAS are peer judged, with entries received from 260 metropolitan and regional radio stations across Australia. Stations outside the metropolitan areas are well represented with more than 200 winners from country and provincial stations.
