Every workplace needs a radio, and with the end of the financial year just around the corner, now is the time to take advantage of the instant asset write-off and invest in a DAB+ digital radio for your business.

As part of the Federal Government’s instant asset write-off scheme for small to medium businesses, you can buy your workplace a new DAB+ digital radio and claim it back on tax, if purchased by June 30.

Workplace radios are a great way to improve the mood of customers and keep employees motivated.

“Small business owners are aware they can write off their tools or equipment, but not many realise they can also deduct the cost of a radio to use within the business,” said Joan Warner, chief executive officer of industry body Commercial Radio Australia.

DAB+ digital radios come in many shapes and sizes, from specially designed worksite radios with roll-cage protection, to hi-fi systems suitable for a store or cafĂ©.

DAB+ digital radio provides digital quality sound and extra choice of stations, and is available in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth, as well as Hobart and Darwin.

Please speak to your tax professional to confirm whether you are eligible for the scheme.
